Member Milestone!
This Collector's Corner has now reached 1,000 members as of this past week!!! Hooray!.
I was keeping an eye on this, and last week it was around 992 and now it is at 1,010. This isn't to say that everyone is "active". Some join, make a Buy/Trade/Sell post and are never seen again. But it is still noteworthy, nonetheless.
This NING.com version of Collector's Corner debuted in late 2007. The prior (official) version -
the "Bulletin Board" - was not as nice, but did have some good, informative postings on it, notably from Roger Nathan.

Did anyone ever keep some record of the previous "Bulletin Board" postings? They could make for interesting reading.

Karen Huffman had mentioned to me in 2007 that they (NGS Libraries & Information Services) had kept an archive file of the old postings. She is the one who set up this Ning site - even though Cathy Hunter is the current NGS administrator of it. We'd have to ask her!!
