Hello Charles,
I am writing from a documentary production company based in New York City, and we are working on a film for PBS which covers the Explorer missions in the 1930s. I would love to chat with you about your collection or any insight about the missions that you might have.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey Charles, I have an object pertaining to the stratosphere flight of 1933. I'm not sure if it's a souvenir, momento, or something that may have been sold as a fundraiser. Its trophy like. Its a model of the gondola on a square base. Its 3 3/4" high and 2 1/2" wide. Made of possible the same metal as the real one. One side of the base says, " Stratosphere Flight 1933" and the other reads "Dow Metal Gondola". The gondola is hollow and has Dow Metal within a diamond shape on both sides. I cant seem to load photos through my phone on this site. Maybe I could email some to you? I can't seem to find any info on this object. I live not far from Dow Chemical where the gondola was built. Any info you may provide would be amazing. My email is captainandym@yahoo.com
.
Hi Charlie,
I was wondering if you have any of the Special Publication books from 2007--2009 that you would like to sell? In both regular and deluxe bindings.
Also, do you have any of the older promotional brochures (1907-1908)?
Thanks for your help.
