"Thanks for calling that to my attention Lloyd. I just went and double-checked the Group settings --->
I cannot control (fine tune) the aspect you mention. As the creator of the group, the most I can do is keep the group "open" for…"
Well, it'll take time for one thing. Plus, it's like a "speculate to accumulate" thing -- we need to get more posts up over time, that would (hopefully) pique interest enough for a person to reply.
Which reminds me,…"
"why do you say only Phil and myself will read your post? There's 35 "views" so far...?
More people read (and usually, appreciate) postings than those that actually make a reply. Some don't comment because they feel they…"
I purchased one through the Society. Of note, there is also an error in the foldout picture of the planes. I believe that the USAF is backwards on one of the planes (I'm going from memory as most of my collection is in…"

unoffical occupation: since 2009 I've been care-giving for 3 of my quite ailing Grandparents...as a live-in helper (in every way conceivable).
Life Member of The National Geographic Society. I became very interested in the Society itself during the 1988 year when I was but 10. Became a proud member myself for my 12th birthday, January 1990. At last I didn't have to wait for my Grandparents to be done with their issues and give them to me : )

Sounds great Scott,
I always enjoy talking with NG collectors & hearing about their experiences. I'm retired and available to chat quite often. I've been a NG member & collector since 1978. Hope to chat soon.
I actually just discovered this website a few weeks ago. It's very cool - I don't really have any particular interests in NG. I've been a fan my whole life, my Dad has an extensive collection and now I'm working on mine.
I haven't been on the site for a few weeks, went to the Custer WI Renewable Energy Fair on Friday. Many plans will be in the following months & years and will try to make an imact with alternatives. For Geographics, it will take a while to sort everything out and start with major projects.
