What are the best articles in NGM relating to the Civil War & World War II?
I am very interested in knowing from someone knowledgeable about Civil War & World War II articles as far as which are the most popular & favorites that I can collect?

Paul,
You can use the NGM Index to locate relevant articles about both the Civil War and WW2. It will tell you the month, name of article, and author. For WW2 you'd find a plethora since during the war, NGM covered many topics and events.
You can find the Index on this Collector's Corner homepage towards the upper-left corner.

There is an excellent 1969 book, "The Civil War" by Robert Paul Jordan, 215 pages you can obtain - published by NGS.
a key Civil War issue specifically, would be April 1961.
