News Bulletins mid 1930's, Indexes 1919-29 in Downtown DC

I would like to meet other National Geographic collectors in the Washington DC area. I live about five blocks from NGS headquarters...

As an added incentive, I have a nice size stack of National Geographic News Bulletins from the mid 30's and Indexes for 1919-1929 that I'd like to find a good home for.

If you're interested in meeting up, send me a message and we can arrange a time for you to pick up the Indexes and Bulletins..

Hi David. I live in Australia, but was just over in DC a couple of weeks ago. I will be going back there later this year. I am interested in your News Bulletins. Can you email me details dalefmurphy@gmail.com ? Thanks

I have Vol 15 No 13-24, 29-30; Vol 16 1-30 except #27, 18 and 7; Vol 17 2-12 except 8 and 10.

I believe I sent you details at your e-mail. Let me know when you will be in town...

Hi Dave,

I live in Baltimore and am interested in one of your indexes (if you have it).  That would be Vol. XLV, Jan-Jun 1924.  If you're willing to part with it, let me know at wilsong@comcast.net .

I do have it! Let me know when you'd like to get together...

Dave,

While I am retired and have plenty of free time, my wife still works and my car is on permanent loan to my daughter for college and work.  I'm not sure when I'll be able to swing down to DC.  Maybe on a weekend.

Tom

Let me know! I'm here most weekends- ever go to Nat Geo programs at HQ?

Dave,

Sorry it has taken so long to reply.  How often does HQ have programs?  Is it open to the public at other times?

Anyway, a little background on my collection.  It is a hybrid collection with 92 reprints for the first 20 years (18 volumes) from 1964 along with originals dating back to 1896.  I have 4 hardbound reprint volumes (III, IV, V & VII) that cover 10 more numbers I need.  Not counting those 10 issues, I need only 1 more number (February 1899).

I also have all the maps and supplements except 1 (March 1904), the map of Korea and Manchuria.

Recently I started collecting the per-volume indexes (1910-1993) of which I now need 2 (Jan-Jun 1915 & Jan-Jun 1924) thus my interest in your copy.

Is there chance you'd be willing to sell me the index by mail?  If so, let me know.  I understand you are interested in a face to face meeting but I'm just not sure if and when I can arrange it.
