how do i determine their worth?

I could try and give you an idea, but I need to know specifically which years you have.

It will all depend on the years and condition of the magazines. National Georgraphic Society still sells old issues (back to the teens) and their site can give you "New" prices. A general guide for the used mags I use is www.abong.com but they haven't updated in about a year and I think they may be shutting down the business. All else failing, check eBay - the bonus being you are already there to list them as you value them.
