My 125 Anniversary issue's spine has an alignment anomaly with a full 1/4 of its width being part of the back advertisement (Canon again). As a result the wording on the spine is very close to the front cover, i.e. not centered down the middle.
For me this makes the issue aesthetically displeasing when it is displayed with other issues on my bookcase. So much so that I am considering purchasing a replacement. Before I do, Id like to know whether this is an isolated binding flaw or is it a common occurrence.

My copy is perfectly centered. All the ones I've seen on E-Bay seem to be OK. I have not heard anyone else mentioning this flaw so you probably do have just an isolated binding flaw...

Mine is good - they will send a replacement (used to be free of charge but who knows now) if your issue is received damaged. The October issue (received in September) might be stretching it a little though - but you never know until you ask.
