Thanks. Glad to take part. I’m new to the NGS world. I’m Immersing myself in all things Yankee as part of a research project. The boat is for sale and I’m seriously considering buying her and restoring her to her 1960’s glory. The plan is offer day trips and limited experience cruises in southern New England waters. A floating museum so to speak. I’m particularly interested in finding the 1967 film of which you have the sound track. Yankee Sails Across Europe aired on CBS on April 8th of that year. I already found a wonderful photo of the announcement on the site. Having this film will give me huge insight and inspiration into the heart and soul of the Irving’s and their know famous boat. I was onboard two weeks ago. Amazing! As I’m new to the site any advise on how to better find this an other Yankee materials would be appreciated. I’m already having a blast tracking down written material. This project has rekindled a fascination with NGS that goes back to my childhood.
