Welcome to the Collector's Corner. And yes, the Afghan Girl (Sharbat Gula) portrait is a storied photograph for sure.
Actually, I always liked the other portrait Steve McCurry took of her better. It was the first one he took of her, before another adult made her take her hands away from her face. (See below),
