Hmm interesting to ponder that near 40 years after that cover story, this image is still such a "thing". I personally always thought it was/is over-rated, and is NOT Nat Geo's crowning photographic (or otherwise) achievement.

Your item has been reposted at a lower price.
I added the 3 to my discussion and with yours made a new section for art.
While I agree the cover is overrated, it and the Dec. '69 moon landing are by far the most popular here at the 'Corner.
