Pristine Issues from 1979-1989 the Leather Cases with Maps

Mom is moving to smaller quarters and needs to give up her collection of NG's from 1979-1989. These were looked at once and then placed in the collection boxes purchased from NG that look like leather bound books. We have never sold anything like this so are hoping you can help us with some information. Is it better to sell individual issues or by the set? What is the value of this type of thing? Is anyone interested in buying this sort of thing? If so please let us know.
Thank you for any assistance,
