50 years ago: Skylab launched - May 14, 1973

I was thinking of this recently, and since it often does not get the attention that Apollo, and the Shuttles and Hubble, etc., I wanted to note its milestone anniversary this month.

There was a feature-length article about Skylab in the October 1974 issue of the National Geographic. This was then reissued as one of the many stand-alone article reprints (which Tom Wilson has documented elsewhere here on the 'Corner).
