I have a 63 year collection of NGs, plus maps and some books. It is my father's collection and runs from 1950 - 2013. The last 10 years are complete, the rest mostly so. Any fair offer will be considered.

Lisa,
I am interested in 1942 to 1954 ,
regards pete
My brother boxed the collection when we closed the house some years ago. According to what he says the collection is complete from 1950 - 1970. The later years are missing some copies. It is complete again from 2001. I will check with him as to whether he wants to break the collection.
You may have whatever copies you are interested in. I will post exactly what we have from that time frame. The war years are missing some copies, as my father was in service -- will let you know. There are also a couple of issues from the late 30s.
certainly interested in the wars years and 30s

Lisa are you in the US or UK , I am interested in your collection
regards pete
I am stateside, in US.
Pete,
As you can see, I have re-vamped the original post. After digging the 1st box out of storage, I see the collection starts in 1948. Not only that, the early issues are in such poor condition (many without covers) that I doubt they are worth anything at all. 1949 is also missing 1 issue, 1950 is missing 4 -- so that part of the collection is in pretty tough shape. It is much better from about 1954 on. If you are interested in any at all, or even just seeing what we have you are welcome to have them without cost from this era.
lisa ,
I am interested in seeing what you have . I am currently in the uk sorting my fathers estate , my home is North Carolina that's where it will be sent . I will check your post or forward it on to me my e mail is petekeenanusa@Hotmail.com .
Regards pete
In the above post, "era" refers to the years 1948-49 only, as being in poor condition -- most have no covers. The rest of the collection is in good to mint condition.
I live in North Dakota. We have been asking $100 for the entire collection -- we are more interested in selling it to someone who wants it than making money.
Lisa ,
Thank you my father passed away in Dec 2013 , the reason is my dad collected nat geo from when he was a young man to his passing 1954- now , my agenda is to add to the collection and pass it on to his granddaughters , the legacy is knowledge and his love of life and nature pure and simple . I am more than happy to donate $100 to cancer research than profit from it !!!!
I'm sorry to learn of your loss. You said you were interested in the 1948 issues through 1953. Can you make a fair offer?
