In a National Geographic Press Release, it was announced that in late-2011 that the magazine was circulated worldwide in thirty-six language editions and had a global circulation of 8.3 million. In the United States, the circulation is around 5 million every month.
I don't know the exact figures but I believe that most of the US circulation is by mail to members. The news stand accounts for a small percentage...
