For the record, this is the stringent grading standard I've used for more than 20 years.

I like this, but have some questions. First is what does having tape on the spine do to the grading? Second, do you have a standard for grading maps? It would help tremendously to have a grading standard, especially from what I have seen pass for excellent condition on eBay.
Minor tape repair begins with the VG standard. Of course the tape in question is the acid free archival tape, not scotch tape, which utterly demolishes a magazines value. A magazine with the entire binding taped is no better than Fair.
