I am a collector with way too much excess inventory.
Favorite National Geographic publication:
Volume CVI Number One - July 1954 - featuring the world's first ascent of Mount Everest by Edmond Hillary and Tensing Norgay two months earlier. My grandfather saved his issues, dating back to the late 1940's, in his attic. I came across the stash in the early 1980's as a teenager. That issue describing the ascent of Everest is the magazine that jump started my interest in NGM... life has not been the same ever since.
Favorite travel destination:
South of France
