- I've been collecting National Geographics since 1983. My collection is complete to June 1908 and mostly complete to April 1905. I have at least 1 issue from every year back to 1895. Financially the pre 1905 issues are just getting too expensive for me to complete my set, even back to 1896. Planning to start a website, when I get the time, to start putting together free starter sets for schools and young people in my area who want to get into collecting National Geographics, or for donation to charities.
