Welcome to Collectors Corner!

My name is Cathy Hunter, and I am an archivist here at National Geographic.  My colleague, Karen Huffman, set up this site a few years ago to provide a social network for those of you who love all things National Geographic.


Some of you may be long-time fans of Collectors Corner, which originally debuted back in the 1990s when the Society launched its website.  If you are still reading after all these years, I especially thank you. We had to take a step back in recent years and be content to let you have all the fun.  However, NGS is taking a more active interest in social networking and we hope to be able to offer you some interesting glimpses into the archives.
