National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

I have National Geographic magazines from the 1950s and 1940s. I am willing to give them to someone for free if they want them. I hate to just trow them out. I may hold on to them for a while if I can't find anyone close who wants them.

I'm located in Ga...will you ship at my cost
Would you be willing to ship them at my expense? I am very interested in that time period. Thanks!
where are you located
Connecticut. Do you have any idea how much it would cost? I'm thinking the flat rate boxes from USPS might be the cheapest, but I could be wrong. The cheaper the better. ;o)
Give me 24 hours to research. I will have an answer for you tomorrow night.
Found it! Sorry if you went to look it up also, the usps website is not that easy to navigate. I didn't realize at first the flat rate boxes were priority mail. oops, lol. I think I could handle maybe one medium box at a time (about $10). I have paypal, but it would be easier for me to send you a money order if that works for you. I can get $ into my paypal, but it's not as easy. If we used the medium box, how many would this fill? If it's too many, I may decide on the large box for the extra $4. Maybe you could tell me how many would fit in each box (med/lrg), so I can figure out how much I'm paying per magazine. Thanks!!!
Here's the link to the prices on usps.com.: http://www.usps.com/prices/priority-mail-prices.htm
Thanks for all your help. :o)
