National Geographic 1940 invitation issue

I have a National Geographic Invitation issue from 1940. It is in fine condition; there are signs of wear in the binding and some worn and torn edges on the cover. The inside articles and pictures are intact and the map at the back of the booklet has never been opened.

 

The letter of invitation is in the front of the booklet and signed by George W. Hutchinson, Secretary of the Society at the time, and is dated November 7, 1940.

 

I have been told that an issue like this would be worth abt $75. If you are interested, I can send pictures.  Please reply via message board or e-mail tracieclawson@netscape.net
