Found 1000s of national geo. In a barn we are tearing down. Worth saving?

A find like this is a collector's dream (maybe)!

At the very least, any supplements that may still be in the magazines might be worth your while, that is, if you have the time to go through them.

Based entirely on the poor quality picture you offer, I would say the mildew and soiling has done enough damage to the books as to render all but the oldest unserviceable.

A consideration may be given to those 1920 through perhaps 1946 if they show little aging and no moisture damage.

If you have any 1919 and older you may find your effort to save them worth your while.

If you have any 1909 and older you will find your effort to save them worth while.
