National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

Hey, all:

I've got 40 years worth of Nat Geos that I'm looking to get rid of (70's to the present). Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to put them out with the recycling. I hate doing that, but no one (and I mean no one) them and they're not worth anything.

Quite a few of them still have their maps inserts. Is there a market for the maps themselves? At the very least, the maps are easier to store. Any help is appreciated. Thanks and talk to you later.

One fella I know deals only with maps (mostly NG maps). He's in the travel business (which also makes it hard to communicate with him at times). He is an honest broker, however, and given time, always responds. I don't know his "purchasing" policy - but he must obtain them somehow in order to offer an inventory for sale.

His eBay store is at the following address: http://stores.ebay.com/Cascoly-Software-and-Travel?_rdc=1

He also maintains a web site with a wider variety of choices: www.cascoly.com

You might also decide to sell your maps by year or decade lots. For that matter, you may wish to sell you NG magazines by year lot also. It just might work - no harm in trying...

Good Luck!
