How to Find if Magazine is Original or Reproduction?

Good afternoon,

I would like to ask for your advice:

There is a book of NG magazines sor sale that I am interested in.

The seller is not sure if they are originals or reproduction.

Is there a way to tell?

Thank you.

Hi Helena,

The first rule of thumb when dealing with reprints is "What year are they?"

The Society only made reprints of the first twenty years (1888-1907).

If you are talking about 1908 or later, they are originals.

Tom,

I see, its 1913, so its safe so assume they are originals.

Thank you for the prompt reply and help!

Helena
