National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

Greetings,

I am new here. I have been holding on to my collection NG for some time. I have about 100 issues pre1953 that someone is interested in buying. I don't know the value of them and I thought to negotiate $2.00 and issue with the buyer. The oldest in the volumes is 1942. I'm only concerned that some key issues may be more valuable than that.

I also have entire volumes dating up to 1942-2004. Can anyone help me figure which of any of the issues may have more value than others and suggest how to sell them.

Thanks,
Krystal

Krystal,

Hello, and welcome! If it pleases you to do so, feel free to email me at < joekool96@msn.com >, and I can give you some input, and I'll send a list of the more collectible issues.

take care,

Hey Scott,
I read your reply regarding input on NG issues and there values. I have the following full years of NG: (79,80,81,85,86,88,89,91,92,93,94,95,96,97). Could you send me a list of collectible issues?

Thanks,

Please send me your list also keith@cosn.org. I have a collection dating back to 1915 and am trying to determine value.

Thanks, Keith
Faith,

what is your email, and I'll send the list to you. By the way, what years or issues do you have?

I'd also love a list of values for issues. I have many from the '30s forward, with many duplicate issues.
Meguey,

There is not actually a "price list" for National Geographic (issues). The list that was being talked about was a list of the more collectible issues - a "top 100", but that does not indicate or determine a value either.

Sorry there's no price list !!
