#3 is actually the 3rd edition NOT 4th.

His first work @ 1935 was considered a pamphlet, not a guide, and was titled: "Collecting National Geographic Magazines."

first edition of the "Guide" was @ 1956

second was @ 1962

third was @ 1971

My mistake. I meant to type 3rd edition but was thinking of something else. Thanks for pointing it out. I will correct it.

Hi Scott

I am in possession of A 1971 Buxbaum.  What makes me possibly think it is not what you are looking for is that the book I have is bound in blue cloth with what appears to be a gilt lettered burgundy leather tag.  It also is in a slipcase...

The book I have is in near perfect condition and signed by the author.  If you are interested, please let me know thanks!

Thanks for trying, but I have the regular 1971 in slipcase. The one I want is the leather presentation copy. 1 of 50 printed. Thanks again.
