I just acquired my 63rd Map Index for my collection. It is the 1967 version of the map supplement "Land of the Bible Today". Coincidentally, my 62nd Map Index was the LotBT from 1962 (1963 for the map). These two plus the 1956 version I already had in my possession completes the set for this map.
The 1956 map index is for the supplement to the December 1956 NGM and has the "classic" centered globe on the cover. It contains 4,252 place names. The map is also dated December 1956.
The 1962 map index is for a non-supplement revision to the 1956 map. It has a plain cover (no globe) and also contains 4,252 place names. The map is simply dated 1963.
The 1967 map index is for a supplement to the December 1967 NGM but is also a revision to the 1956 map. It has a busy cover containing a large image of the map at the top and a small image of the NGM cover near the bottom. It contains 4,504 place names. As with 1956, the map is dated the same as the issue: December 1967.
And here are the map headers:

Very nice set!
Very nice indeed, thanks Tom!
Hi George. Thanks for the add. Where do you find these indices? I've never even seen one before. Is it possible to get PDF scans of them? I'd be happy just to have the information contained in them if not the actual items themselves.
Hi, John,
There are several of them for sale on eBay right now. Also, John Carey, a member and dealer has several for sale. Check "Dealers Directory", top left column Main Page. You might also want to try AbeBooks and Amazon.
I know of no electronic copies of these items like there are for the magazine itself. Maybe someone else knows of any.
BTW, I go by my middle name, Tom.
Yours in collecting,
Tom
Thank you Tom! I will pursue those leads.
