As Jeffrey Persons stated, there are 2 variations to the picture on page 614 in the article on cats.
Varient 1 shows a cat in front of 10 Downing Street. Varient 2 shows a kitten licking its lips .
I have 2 copies of Varient 1 (1 bound and 1 loose issue) and 2 copies of Varient 2 (1 bound and 1 loose issue)

This is so cool, Phil. Unfortunately, I'm on the road for ~3 weeks and away from my collection. :-(
I'll let you know which version I have when I get back home.
Tom
One of each: variant 1 - loose; variant 2 - bound
I just wonder how or why these kind of variances happened . . . ? !
Variations of ads could be reasoned as regional oriented advertisements. But that's pure speculation on my part.
As to variations of photos within a main-line article of a particular issue - Now that's the right question!
End program! (hint: I Robot)...
Phil,
I'm finally back home. I have version #2, "M-mm-m, but that tasted good!".
I just had a look and I have variant 2 in both loose and bound copies!
