I am also trying to find a home for a National Geographics collection - I don't necessarily need to receive any money for them, but want to avoid putting them all into a paper recycling bin or, worst of all, a landfill. Options I am considering, which may be useful for you as well, are 1) Craig's List for your county, or geographic area - section: Collectibles, or 2) freecycle.org - this is a huge online volunteer-run organization, organized on a county basis, where members can post items that they want to offer, or items they want to receive. All transactions are local and no money is exchanged. Hope this is helpful.
One more thing; I also have a large gap between 1930-1952 with some sporadic issues; so I am also interested in these.
HI! super interested in MAY 1972 issue. please let me know if you have it because I'm willing to but it asap.
The above link is for May 1972 Nat Geo magazines on E-Bay for as low as $2.00.. I hope this helps you out.
thanks Phillip, but they seem to all be gone:( still extremely interested. let me know if you find any other direct links! thanks again!
I have that issue if you are still looking for it. Contact me at email@example.com.
Currently there's been a rush on May 1972 copies, because of the show "The Leftovers", haha. I've been meaning to post a discussion about the May 72's use as a plot device in a TV show.
I had a hunch this is why you're seeking one Valerie? Alas, I am just chatting -- I don't have an extra for you.
