We are creating a fun library project and still in need of thousands of Nat Geos (we have about 6000 and need 4000 more).
They don't have to be perfect - just in decent shape - we need them for the yellow spines (don't need the brown cases).
I work and live in the San Francisco Bay Area (work in Sausalito, live in Danville).
I can drive to your location to pick them up.
Might be able to pay for some to be shipped to us (if we use freight- the cheapest for the weight).
If you have 100s or 1000s or more and willing to part with them, let me know.
Thanks!
Sean

Hi, Sean. Any interest in the maps, posters and supplements? If so, please see my previous posting. Oh, and those prices are in Canadian dollars. :-)
Chris
thanks Chris- no, we just mainly need Nat Geo magazines. thanks!
I never shipped freight. Where does one go to get a quote?
I would assume UPS or Fedex freight could help - I don't want to be a pain, so do it only if you can and it's easy. They'll need size and weight, so if you weigh some to get an estimate on the total. Thanks!
Hi Anita, and Sean,
...you can go to UPS.com or FedEx.com and utilize their shipper/shipping calculator (aka estimator) to get quotes $
You would need to know your final packed weight, and length, height, width of package as well as full destination name, address, and sender's address/name info.
To actually do your own postage @ home on your PC, you do need to create a personal account (with either of them), otherwise you can't create + print your own postage.
It's no biggie, and VERY convenient. I have my own personal acct's w/ UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
You can even --if you needed or wanted to-- choose to have the parcel picked up from your home on a time/day of your choosing; watch though as sometimes there's an extra surcharge to do that, but it's based on certain variables, and not across-the-board always.
Good luck,
- Scott S.
thanks Scott!
