National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

I am in the process of assembling a complete list of all National Geographic videos in VHS format. I've attached an 8 page list containing information on 368 VHS tapes. The tapes are sorted first by title and then by distributor (i.e., Columbia Tristar, National Geographic, Time-Life, Vestron Video, and Warner Home Video). Please review the list and notify me of any errors or omissions. Thank you!

Excellent work Richard!

I'll cross check with my limited inventory but doubt I'll find anything to add.

Apologies if this is a silly question but would a chunk of these be on DVD format as well? Or are they VHS exclusive?

It's not a silly question. A number of the titles are on DVD. I'll be working on the DVDs once I finish the VHS tapes. I'll probably get to those after the first of the year.

Ah excellent, thank you for letting me know and for your hard work cataloging all of these.

I am now going through my Nat Geo VHS collection and making notes/comparisons. I will have some additions, and corrections, to share with you soon.

This is great!  Thank you so much for making this!  I looked all over online and I didn't find a list so I made my own but I never got all of them.  Then I was invited to join the collector's corner and I found your list here!  And you have the prices!!  Where did you even get all this information!?

I actually made a Wikipedia page with as many titles as I could.

Could you upload your Excel spreadsheet so I can add these to the Wiki page?

Thanks Brandon for your effort in compiling the Wikipedia page. I saw that some time back and wondered who might have made it.
