custom artistry on a May 1994 "Alaska" NGM supplement map
Greetings,
I caught this on eBay earlier this year and had intended to show it to the 'Corner. Some unknown individual had added a lovely set of hand-drawn images on the 1994 "Alaska" supplement map.
It was clearly done with some love & enthusiasm . . . the images perfectly capture the natural wildlife wonder of Alaska certainly, as seen below in close-ups:
I am impressed with the quality of the painted illustrations done here!
Here's the link to the current listing on eBay ---> the seller does not seem to know whom the artist might be. Note: I do not know this seller, either.
