Geographic News/School Bulletins for Sale or Trade
I have more than 250 original National Geographic Society Geographic News Bulletins and Geographic School Bulletins available for sale or trade, primarily covering Volumes 10–25 (1931–1947). These represent approximately 238 different volume-and-issue combinations, plus duplicate copies.
Highlights include:
A complete 30-issue run of Volume 14
Volume 15: 29 of 30 issues
Volume 16: 29 of 30 issues
Volume 17: 29 of 30 issues
Volume 18: 28 of 30 issues
Volume 19: 29 of 30 issues
Volume 23: 28 of 30 issues, all without library stamps or noted defects
Several historically interesting issues are available, including Volume 14, No. 4, featuring the Byrd Antarctic Expedition; Volume 20, No. 13, marking the change from Geographic News Bulletins to Geographic School Bulletins; and Volume 23, No. 30, with its wartime bond appeal and change from stapled to glued binding.
These classroom publications are considerably scarcer than ordinary National Geographic magazines. Many were separated, displayed, marked, or discarded during classroom use, making complete and near-complete runs particularly desirable.
Condition varies. Some copies are clean and unstamped, while others have library stamps, pinholes, two-hole punching, names, or other classroom wear. My detailed inventory identifies these conditions.
I am also seeking issues from my want list, particularly the early 1919–1921 bulletins, early numbered volumes, and missing issues from Volumes 24 and 25. I am open to selling individual issues and duplicates, although I would prefer initially to keep complete or near-complete runs together. Trades toward wanted issues are especially welcome.

Please also respect the privacy of other members of the group and do not share information about them (but of course it’s fine to repost or share content they have already posted). Let us know. We do monitor posts, but we may miss something. We encourage members to flag content which they feel violates any of the above Community Rules so we can review and take the appropriate action.
