FIRST National Geographic Magazine to feature the Yellow Border (and, Oak & Laurel Leaves). Obviously this shade of yellow varies from the contemporary hue of the NGM.

Have you actually got a copy of this Scott, I only have it electronically, my oldest printed copy is actually 1927. This is so cool!!

Yes, I have this issue. I have all (original) issues from 1908-1910, and from 1914-2011. For 1888-1907, I have the 1964 NGS reprints in the bound set.
Alas, for 1911, 1912, and 1913 I am missing about half each year, and the copies I do have are in a horrific condition.
