measures 31"x 20"
The info. text reads:
The National Geographic Society's first general reference map of the world was published in December 1922 and reflected the dramatic changes of the early 20th Century. The 1919 treaty that ended World War I had redrawn political boundaries in Europe and the Middle East. German territories in Africa and the South Pacific went to the victors. Air travel was new enough to be detailed in the map's key. Explorers had reached the North and South Poles, yet large parts of the ice-covered Arctic Ocean and Antarctica remained "unexplored".
