Hello All,
I presently reside in Brazil and have come across a box of National Geographics in very good condition in a bookshop in Rio de Janeiro. I picked up a copy from June and May of 1956 as this was when my parents were born, as a small gift. The magazines have piqued by curiosity and I've read both with great interest. The magazines were printed here (in Brazil) it seems. They have in red letters across the bottom of the front cover (in Portuguese) that it is a copy for their partners and for it not to be sold.
My question is as they are examples does this increase or diminish their value? I have thoughts of going through the box and perhaps picking out copies that are more sought after but I wouldn't want to do this if the value is significantly decreased.
Thank you in advance for your opinion and advice,
Nikola

Would love to see images of these Nikola. Are they written in English or Portuguese?
Hi,
What were the back cover advertisements for the May and June 1956 issues?
Hello, I've attached images of the front and back covers. The writing is in Portuguese. Also, correction, it is the May and July editions of 1956 that I bought, the box does have many others however.
What do you think?
