Map supplement at newsstand, not in the mailed magazine

Did you know that the October 2013 issue that came to my house did not have a map supplement in it, yet the same issue at the newsstand did? The poster is nice- reproduction of the 1992 map on one side and old covers on the other. I believe they pulled the same stunt in November; same poster, though.

I was at the airport and just happened to see it. I could not believe my eyes. But I bought the &@$! Magazine bcs I thought the supplement was nice !?! I just wonder who is running the show on these map supplements ?
