These magazines have been stored on shelves in my parent's climate controlled basement and were never moved. Issues from the 1950s are in poor to good condition. From 1960 to present, condition ranges from fair to excellent. The collection is located in northern Virginia.
Hello Dara, my name is Riley and I am 16. I am working in improve my National Geographic collection, and I am wondering if your National Geographic collection is still available for purchase, or if it has already found a home?
The collection is still available, but I have come to find out that there are several issues missing, so I don't want to mislead you about its being complete. My guess is that about 10 issues are missing, otherwise, it is all there. Are you interested in the whole collection and do you live in Northern Virginia?
Hello Dara, I am just fine with a couple issues missing. That is A-OK. I do not live in Northern Virginia. I live in Oregon, and I realize that shipping would be costly and on me. I hope that is not disqualifying, but I do understand if you need to find someone closer to home.
Have you looked into what shipping costs would be? I do not necessarily need to find a local person, but I cannot pay for shipping and don't want you to be shocked if the bill is hundreds of dollars. Please research this and let me know what you find out.
Thanks, I realized after I responded that it would be a lot, so I am currently looking into it. Thanks for your patience. :)
When I looked it up, I realized that it would be well over 500 dollars. I am very sorry, but that is too much for me. I am very sorry for wasting your time, and I hope you find someone closer to you for you great collection.
Not a problem at all. I wish you luck with your collection.
