Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone else had a copy of the January 2011 supplement?
I was curious as I didn't even see it in Philip's album of supplements.
I have one myself and was wondering if it wasn't included because is was actually a small booklet of 10 pages, (12 if you count front and back covers).
However it does state right on the front cover at the top "Supplement to the National Geographic January 2011".
So, is it not included because it's not a single fold out sheet/page ?
Regarding another supplement, I see there was a supplement for the March 2011 about the 7 Billion,.
I was wondering if only some issues had them. I have been receiving my subscription from NGM directly since 2007, and yet I realized I had no supplement when I seen it on this site, and went to check my copy.
I guess I will have to contact NGM and ask why they sent me a copy without the insert, or ask them to send me another.
Thanks

Phil, and everyone:
Should we add a separate album of all the misc. odd supplements/inserts/tear-outs/posters, etc. that are not maps as already presented in all of Phil's map image albums?
Scott,
Yes. We should have a separate list of "Odd Supplements"( anything that is stuffed in the magazine sent to subscribers) that none of our group can ever agree on as supplements. This should be separate from the traditional list of maps and perforated and non perforated, attached and unattached supplements...
Phil
Lloyd,
FYI - I list both items you mentioned as supplements, and both were received in my regular subscription.

I don't know how I missed this one, Mel. I guess it slipped though the gap between my passive collecting (a big box of maps in the attic) and my active collecting (eBay, dealers, and such) which started around then.
Oh well, it gives me something else to search for.
Tom
Hi Mel,
Yes I think I received my Jan. 2011 with the mag also. But did not get my Mar. 2011.
See my reply to Phil near the beginning of the discussion.
Thanks
