Old Articles by John Lawrence DOODY

New forum member here, in need of assistance!  I am researching the career of John Lawrence DOODY, a former member of various British colonial police services and a prolific writer. His son advised that he was a regular National Geographic contributor; I would estimate his articles would appear anywhere from 1950 until his death in 1960. Any & all assistance would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Unless he published under a pen name, their are only two references (1888 through 2011) in the National Geographic "Magazine" to any "Doody":

1) one reference to the Howdy Doody character

2) one article by Daniel E. Doody

Of course, there are other publications by the Society he may have contributed to but there are no references within the magazine.

What was your search methodology?   The publication index on this site seems to only go back to 1980.

I searched the entire NGM digital copy I have on my computer, which now includes the last two digital years of 2010 and 2011 thanks to Scott.
