Dear whoever is reading this, I need a list of the National Geographic Collector Editions.

Dear Jarod,

When you say "collector editions" can you please specify with an example? Most likely I think you are talking about the over-sized, single-topic newsstand issues that come out several times per annum.

If that's what you are referring to, it's funny you ask now, as I have been getting close to making a formal overview of them on here. I've been compiling issue-by-issue data and images of the entire "series" since it began in 2001.

 

Let me know, and I'll see how I can help you. To my knowledge, I don't think anybody else has been systematically collating those, as I have been for years. At least I haven't seen anyone talk about them (except a few vague, in-passing remarks).

Yep, you were talking about the ones I thought. As for that link, a few months ago (for some reason!) the NG folks removed all the oldest ones, and really, there are a "whole lot" missing from that montage.

Inexplicably, they even are missing some of the newest ones any way, so we can't even look at that pages and think "well all the ones since X-date are there".

It'll be a few days or a week, but I will get back to you with the info. that I have for them. I have everything and all the pics of every edition.
