Looking for Old Magazines
My name is Michele Wilson, and I am a senior student teacher from The College of New Jersey. This semester I am teaching third grade at Franklin Elementary School in Trenton, NJ.
In the upcoming weeks I will be teaching a unit on geometry. One of my goals is to have students gain an understanding and appreciation of symmetry in nature. To do this, they will make a collage from magazine cutouts, drawing lines of symmetry where applicable. I am looking to obtain at least 25 different magazines for this purpose.
Is there anyone here who would be willing to donate old magazines?
