National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

I've posted a photo album here showing the covers, 6 of which are completely different than the American edition of NGM. All 12 show the guest editor's name prominently displayed.

You are really going to town there, Scott.   :-)

These are really great.  I especially like the one from March with Brian Cox.

Talk about gettin' in the weeds!

Big bites Scott!

Mel, I meant to post this in December or January! LOL ~ the cover scans are from my personal collection.

Tom, that one's my favorite cover too, along with Jan + Nov.

Thank you for sharing Scott. So is that to say the stories in non UK editions will be different as well? Or are they the same stories but simply edited differently (different choice of images, different words in the stories etc?).

Excuse my ignorance.

Pece,

The main articles were the same but these 2018 UK versions featured some different department features, specific to the UK-guest editor, including a guest editor letter, etc.

Cool, thank you for the info Scott! :)
