"No there isn't. It is a double-sided map, one side 'Alaska' the other 'Top of the World'.  Check out the attached file for details."

"Interesting, wasn't aware of this. My map is from the October Issue 1939 and the title on the map says 'Central Europe and the Mediterranean as of September 1, 1939'"

"Good point, I just collect the maps not the magazines, so not sure where they come from.  The 2012 World map does not have a month as usual, so perhaps it wasn't part of an issue.  The Pearl Harbour one was apparently printed in April…"

"Here is an Excel spreadsheet with all Nat Geo maps from 1889 to 2019.  I have 389 of the 431 maps so it should be a fairly accurate list.  Let me know if anything is missing or incorrect."

Retired software engineer, avid traveler, photographer and map collector. I have about 1'500 maps, 600 of them from National Geographic. I have most NatGeo maps from 1912 onwards (missing only 12) but always interested to add to the collection.
