"Our Foreign-Born Citizens"
This story is a photo-documentary of Ellis Island, and all the people from all different cultures coming to America in 1917, all in their native dress...amazing!
Favorite travel destination: (If none, make no entry):
When the February 1917 issue was published, Bell was on the Society's Board of Managers -and- on the editorial board as a Contributing Editor. I am surprised that the article has a byline, and is not just an editorial.

Alexander Graham Bell was the inventor of the telephone, among many other things. He was also the 2nd President of the National Geographic Society!
