Selling a complete set of National Geographic 1947-2001
We are selling a complete set of individually wrapped National Geographic 1947 to 2001. Each book is wrapped and has been stored in mint condition from their inception. Collected by a client and we sell on behalf of those clients. We are looking for offers to purchase. The short of it is, your best bet for income would be to sell the items individually on sites like eBay. Unfortunately, your turnover would be something around 10% per year, especially for the newer issues (which 1947 to present would be considered).
Your best bet would be to sell in one lot, but those buyers are far and few in between.
That leaves dealers, who are most likely already buried in issues this recent. However, "if" these issues are indeed in mint condition, you might convince a dealer to purchase them for a very nominal price.
Then you have transportation and delivery...
There is a well known dealer in Central City, Iowa you should contact and discuss your options. His name is Mike Oliphant and is a member of this forum.
