Hello Ingo,

I am only slightly aware of where this is, in your photo. What is the significance of the KVR line in Naramata? What is your interest in that?

Hello Scott.....The old Kvr is the Kettle Valley Railroad in southern British Columbia....the rails have mostly been taken up years ago and the line is mostly for walking or biking but people do drive vehicles along there as well.
My daughter lives in Naramata and this spot where the pic was taken is right by the little tunnel above Naramata.
The old line goes from lake level in Penticton to where this spot is well above the lake in only 16 kms and the track makes a couple switch backs further on to level out at Chute Lake and then on to Kelowna. Many old
trestles burned down a few years ago when there were many forest fires in this area. I have been up here several times just to enjoy the view from up here......you can see all the way from Okanagan Falls to Peachland and beyond......I was hoping that Ogopogo would show up in the background :)))
