One of my favorite photo's that I took of H.R.H. Prince Philip in Rarotonga in 1971. From memory he was looking at Mary (Meme) Macquarie. I took this photo at Taputapuatea and Mary had just given Prince Philip a 'kiss' on the cheek which is normal island-style 'Welcome'... Meme did ask H.R.H. first, I remember that! Prince Philip couldn't stop smiling the rest of the afternoon and kissed more than one or two of the ladies island-style after that. H.R.H. said that he would love to return to Rarotonga, and we hope so too..
