Larry,
Hello, thanks for mentioning these. I love the Pictorial Geography series! I have all 6 sets (9 groups). Back in 2020, I scanned all 288 plates and posted them here on the Collector's Corner. Also, I donated use of the scans to the Society's Archives Division and they actually used them for one of their Twitter posts.

I am happy to see your enthusiasm about this, and other items since you joined us. Welcome!

Thanks Scott! Looks like you have done all of the heavy lifting in disseminating all of your plates and making them available to the interested public. Pretty cool acknowledgement from the NGS in the Twitter posts.
I checked and I have 8 of the 9 groups in my collection. I thought I had #4 The Land, The Water and The Air but could not find it today as I checked my holdings. I recognize many of the plates from that series that you have posted.
I stepped back from active collecting about 20 years ago and am just now looking again at what I have and organizing what I have accumulated and am decided what to sell over the next few years. While collecting my main goal was to acquire a complete run of original singletons. I was never able to afford the 4 Volume 1 issues although I do have a bound Vol 1 of all 4 originals without the red brick covers. Aside from those 4 issues I have everything else so I came close.
You must have quite an extensive collection yourself by now. I would be interested to know what all you have amassed.
Thanks again!
Larry
