I recently acquired a lot of old issues that were stored away somewhere for a long period of time. As a result, some of the issues are like a board with all the pages seemingly fused together simply by time and pressure. The problem is that when I attempt to separate them, some of the ink lifts off the page and results in a deterioration of the photographs and text. Does anyone know of a way to avoid this? Many of these issues are in really good shape aside from this. Thank you.
