Hello,
Would you mind to set my possible error straight?
In my list of supplements I have 2 maps listed under February 1892, and wonder if they are 2 separate maps or if it is just one map with 2 different names.
Carte Generale Des Decouvertes De Lamiral De Fonte
and
Voyages of Bering.
Thank you for any help.

Helena,
I am sorry but I am away from my collection for a few weeks. I'll check it when I get home. If my memory serves me correctly there is a Voyages of Bering map as well as the Carte G. one. I can't remember their sizes or if they detach from the magazine. Philip Riviere only posted an image of Carte G. and not the Bering one implying that he felt the latter wasn't a supplement but just an attached foldout. If no one else replies, I'll get back to you on this when I get home in a week or two.
Yours in collecting,
Tom Wilson
Lots of inconsistencies between this issue and its "one" map.
It is a map of: Bering's First Voyage and titled, "CARTE GENERALE DES DECOUVERTES de l'Admiral de Fonte"
The map is labeled in the upper right margin as Vol. III, 1891. PL. 21
The article the map accompanies is dated January 28, 1892.
The cover of this issue is dated February 19, 1892.
The cover also shows only one plate (as the early issues labeled their maps as such) - Plate 21.

Thank you for the clarification!
